AWESOME! Local business scores with EXCELLENT service...can't get that from the "big boys". My future purchases will be made here. I'd rather pay a dollar or two more to be able to get the service that only a local business can offer! (blade replacement - Craftsman was fast and affordable). AWESOME!

I decided to give Metuchen Mowers 5 Stars because the owner and his staff will actually take the time with you and explain their product lines. I didn't feel pressured into purchasing anything which can lead to making bad choices. Also I would like to mention that if they don't have product in stock their honest about and will give you an approximate date for your order to arrive. They will also prep all your equipment for delivery. Good job guy...

Home Depot and another local place were backed up for 2-3 weeks when I called around yesterday. These guys took my mower in this morning and it was done by 4:00. JR, a repair tech, took time to explain common problems with mowers. He even helped me get a stuck bungee cord out from the back of the truck. I strongly recommend this mower repair service!!

These guys could not have been any more friendly and took the time to run through the basic instructions on the machine I just purchased.

The owner is amazing. Super knowledgeable, and doesn't pressure you into buying something you don't need. Recommended a mid priced snow blower that is amazing, but gave us options with great explanations on all their equipment. Sold me the snow blower I needed, not the most expensive one. Service on their equipment is top notch.

Recently, all the wheels on my 4-year old Honda mower needed a complete replacement. Also, after commenting that my mower did not shut down properly using the throttle lever, I was told that it probably needed only a minor adjustment to it. And, within 4 days, I had my mower back working like a brand new machine again! And I was only charged for work relating to the wheel replacements - labor and parts.

Beautiful showroom and great machines. I bought my little Toro lawn mower there and it works nice cutting my grass every weekend. Also got a Honda Generator from Ben. When "Sandy" hit, My fridge was running and food stay cold.

Great place. Owner very friendly and helpful. Brought mower in - couldn't pull cord to start it. Owner fixed it in the parking lot and didn't charge me a dime. I was there two years ago and also had a positive experience. Will go back the next time I have a problem.

I bought a Bobcat zero turn mower and couldn't be happier! I can understand where some may have not had the best experience dependent on your personality and your envisionment of customer service. Mine however is one where I want direct, to the point, matter of fact service. What's your property size, what are you thinking you need, and a recommendation for what I actually need. With that, this is the exact interaction I had here and will be coming back for all purchases of equipment that they sell.

I valued this approach which is part of the reason why I gravitated towards them over a "big box" store. I had several questions and appreciated receiving Ben's insights as well. And again...the responses didn't try to sway me towards something that didn't seem right for our lawn. I purchased a Husqvarna riding mower and it was delivered the next day. The same machine was readily available elsewhere, but their customer service speaks volumes. Thank you!

I have been a loyal customer to Metuchen Mower for over 25 years and have purchased snow blowers, weed wackers, blowers, snapper lawn mowers and most recently a wright 32" stander riding mower. They have always been fair with the price and have helped me when a piece of equipment needs repair. When you buy power equipment from Metuchen Mower regardless of what brand they sell, they stand behind there product and will do whatever possible to correct a problem if it arises.
